Principles of Yin Yoga
Teacher Training with Lynda Maguire E-RYT
Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Credits Available
Appropriate for teachers wanting to teach yin yoga as well as for students who simply wish to deepen their own understanding and practice. Each session will combine yin practice and theory with adequate time for questions and discussion. You’ll learn:
- Principles of yin and yang
- Meridian theory
- How and why to practice yin yoga
- Basic tenets of yin practice, and how to teach the poses
- Misconceptions surrounding yin practice
- Sequencing classes
- Ways to adapt yin yoga for students with injuries, limited mobility, or who have other special considerations

Tuition: $480. Includes training manual and unlimited yin yoga classes at Yogawood during the course of the training. Pre-registration and non-refundable $100 deposit by September 15.
Instructor: Lynda Maguire, E-RYT. Lynda's practice and teaching focus on both yin and vinyasa styles as she believes they complement each other and help students develop a well-balanced yoga practice. A teacher for six years, Lynda continues to study anatomy and to practice yin yoga with Paul Grilley and to study meditation and yin yoga with Sarah Powers.
