Yogawood Prenatal Series

Congratulations! Pregnancy is an amazing, transformative experience, and the benefits of practicing yoga during pregnancy are widely published. Yogawood is a welcoming, nurturing place for expectant mothers to meet and support each other as they safely learn to:

  • release tension held in the shoulders, lower back, and hips
  • ease anxiety and bring calm to the central nervous system through movement and breathwork
  • tone and strengthen the pelvic floor
  • prepare to move through the physical discomfort of labor and delivery by focusing on the breath
  • tune into the subtle and dramatic physical and emotional changes during pregnancy

The Yogawood Prenatal Series will meet for six Sundays, February 25, March 4, 11, 18, and 25, and April 1, 2007, from 11:15 A.M. – 12:45 P.M. This course is offered by pre-registration only and space is limited. The contribution for this series is $90 (unfortunately, it won't be possible to make up any sessions if you miss them). Please download our release form for your Ob/Gyn or Midwife to sign and bring it to your first class.
