Vinyasa:Find your yogic rhythm. This flowing class links breath and body, promoting expansion and coordination. Our teachers provide guidance and modifications so you can sweat and sway your way through any challenging poses with a focus on form and safety. All classes balance moving flows, standing poses, hip openers, seated poses and stretches, back bends, twists, and relaxation. Feel more aware of your strength and your peace.
Gentle: Find your comfort. Smooth the rough edges of your day. Accessible for all, the slower pace makes these classes ideal for students who are newer to yoga or working with mobility issues. Build a new sense of comfort within your body through time and calm movements. Feel how soft your strength can be.
Gentle Flow: Find your pace. Slower than vinyasa, more active than gentle. Feel the balance between flow and melt.
Core-Strengthening Yoga + Yoga/Pilates: Find your core. Flowing vinyasa movements are utilized to bring emphasis to your core stability. Access your strength and apply it wisely as you move. Sweat, be challenged, and find the integrity of moving from your center. Feel the supportive power of your solar plexus at work.
EveryBODY Yoga: Find your self safe. We welcome all bodies in all our classes - and most especially in this one. These classes are specifically for curvy-bodied students taught by a curvy-bodied teacher. You will move in an active class and have a lot of chances to ask questions in a community of students just like you. The goal is to be really comfortable in a yoga class and ultimately, really comfortable in your body. Feel empowered and have fun.
Yin: Find your release. A great balance with your active (yang) practice and for recovery from all forms of exercise and life, these 2 to 5 minute poses happen almost entirely on the mat. The yin quality of this movement frees the fascia (connective tissue) and bone. Use this slow, sustained approach to release the restrictions within your body. Use the pauses to release the restrictions within your mind. Feel the freedom that comes from allowing ourselves to intentionally rest and recover.
Yin/Vinyasa: Find your balance. These classes are often in the daytime when we want to be both calm and alert. The first part of class is the deep, grounding, incredibly beneficial yin. The second part of class will gently get you moving. Expect some standing poses and maybe a bit of balance before savasana. Feel the beneficial mix of letting go while being actively aware.
Prenatal: Find your readiness. By mixing soothing, stretching and comforting poses with empowering flows to prepare for the journey ahead, this class is specifically tailored to be safe and supportive during pregnancy. Connect with other expecting members of your community and set aside time to care for yourself. Feel the grace and true magic of what you are creating.
Meditation: Find your stillness. In these meditation sits, Yogawood teachers offer techniques to access meditation while allotting time to meditate. No need for prior experience. Come dressed comfortably, sit down, and enter in. Feel the ability to access this peace within yourself, whenever you need it most.
